Our much loved Christmas Carol Concert was a resounding success again this year, with all the tickets sold out within hours of them going online in November. Over 350 people attended the two performances which were led by Sarah Chittenden. It is such a magical event and has become an essential part of the Christmas Calendar for so many people.
It would not be possible to hold it or for it to be such a success without our magnificent team of volunteers who add so cheerfully to the magic of the evening; two in particular deserve a special mention: our dancing elves Anna and Christie who really were incredibly funny and entertaining. Thank you to our amazing caterers Sarah and Izzy and the team from Catered by Justin who served the mulled wine and mince pie which were much appreciated by the guests. And we are of course very grateful to our Sponsors, Robert Holmes Estate Agents and Dickie Arbiter.
We are still totting up the money and costs, but it looks as if we have made around £1,700 this year for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which is a terrific achievement.
